Sport Pilot Course

Coming Soon!

Private Pilot Course

A Private Pilot Certificate (or, in the United States, a certificate) permits the holder to operate an aircraft, initially only under visual flight rules. In most countries, including the US, a private pilot possessing an instrument rating may also conduct flights under instrument flight rules. Passengers may be carried and flight in furtherance of a business is permitted as long as it is important to the business; however, a private pilot may not be compensated in any way for services as a pilot and must pay at least the pro rata share of a flight's expenses. Neither passengers nor cargo may be carried for hire. A Private Pilot is also required to be at least 17 years of age, read, speak, write and understand the English language, and maintain at least a third class medical certificate, which is issued by an Aviation Medical Examiner. Standards for each of the three classes of medical certificates may be found in Part 67 of the Federal Aviation Regulations.

Multi-Engine Course

The student will receive training in the maneuvers and procedures necessary for him/her to meet the standards contained in the FAA Multi Engine Private Pilot Practical Test Standards. Additionally, the student will receive training in safety awareness, crew resource management, and aeronautical decision-making. At the successful completion of this course the student will have gained the aeronautical experience necessary to apply for the addition of a multi engine rating for his/her FAA Private Pilot’s Certificate.

Instrument Course

A instrument Pilot Rating permits the operator to operate an aircraft in instrument metrological conditions (IMC). Our course is setup to transition you to the multi-engine for your checkride for those individuals seeking a instrument multi-engine rating.  A instrument pilot is required to be at least 17 years of age; read, speak and understand the english language and maintain at least a 3rd class medical.

Commercial Single-Engine Course

The commercial single-engine course will teach you how to fly an aircraft more precision and accuracy by combining visual cues from outside that aircraft with instrument readings from within. Our course is currently setup to add-on the SE to an existing Commercial ME.  A student looking for their Commercial SE add-on is required to have a Commercial ME, read, speak and understand the english language and maintain at least a 3rd class medical.

Commercial Multi-Engine Course

A Commercial Pilot Certificate allows a pilot to be compensated for providing aircraft transportation.  Our course will teach you the skills required to pass a FAA checkride to Practical Test Standards.  We encourage students to add-on the SE portion during this course but they are not required.  At the completion of this course you have over 250 hours total time and an addition of a Commercial Pilot's Certificate.

Certified Flight Instructor Course

A certified flight instructor certificate allows a pilot to pass on their knowledge and experiences to our individuals who want to learn to fly.  Our course teaches you techniques to pass on the knowledge to a new student pilot or an advanced pilot. At the completion of this course you will be able to instruct in single-engine land airplanes.

Multi-Engine Instructor Course

Our multiengine instructor course allows you to add that multi-engine instructor to your certificate.  This course is designed to be completed within a very short time.  The only requirement for this certificate for the FAA is a commercial pilot certificate and a minimum of 15 hours total time in aircraft using for our checkride.

Instrument Instructor Course

Our Instrument instructor course is setup to be completed in less then two weeks.  This certificate allows you to instruct anyone under IMC.  There are not minimum time requirements for this rating for the FAA, therefore allowing you to complete it as fast as you desire.

Airline Transport Pilot Course

We provide training according to the FAA's PTS guide for ATP applicants.  We have instructor's and aircraft capable of teaching and using for your ATP checkride.  If you would like more information on our ATP course please contact the Chief Flight Instructor at 507-625-6006.
